DISA was requested by Svitzer Salvage to install 8 steel wires of 72 mm diameter underneath the vessel in order to keep her in position during par-buckling operations. DISA in cooperation with JV partner Gebr. Van Leeuwen, performed horizontal directional drilling under the vessel from a pontoon and subsequently retracted the wires. The installation of 8 wires was conducted in 10 days, inclusive (de)mobilization.
