AN EVENTFUL 2024 AND GOOD PROSPECTS FOR 2025

DISA International has had a year full of developments. For instance, the renowned provider of maritime and subsea services achieved, among other things, step 4 on the Safety Culture Ladder and now an official branch in Germany. ‘The outlook for 2025 are positive,’ says managing director Didier de Graaff.

LEVEL 4 CERTIFICATION

Operational excellence, transparency and safety are DISA's core values, according to Marc Dröge, DISA's Commercial Manager. ‘As an important milestone of safety culture excellence, we successfully achieved Safety Culture Ladder (SCL) Level 4 certification, awarded by the esteemed Bureau Veritas, in early 2024. This recognition highlights our unwavering commitment to promoting a proactive and advanced safety culture within our organisation.’ Achieving this certification indicates that we have gone beyond mere compliance and actively established a culture where safety is not just a priority, but an integral part of our identity, indicates John Penson, DISA Operations Manager. ‘The certification is a testament to the organisation's commitment to the well-being of our employees and proactive management of security risks.’

FØN ENERGY SERVICES AND C-VENTUS

Føn Energy Services and offshore wind farm services company C-Ventus, part of DISA, merged in 2024. ‘This merger strengthens our position as a leading European Operations & Maintenance (O&M) player within offshore wind,’ said Didier. ‘Føn Energy Services has traditionally had a strong presence in the North Sea. It forms a strong combination with C-Ventus' European track record and scalable business model with in-house project management and engineering. This merger acts as a catalyst for geographic expansion into the rest of Europe. Our business model allows us to substantially scale our operations without unnecessary costs for our customers.’

BLUETACK

With the strategic investment and divisional merger of DISA's Wreck Removal division with BlueTack, DISA is taking an important step forward in its growth strategy. ‘BlueTack is a leading sustainable marine services provider specialising in Incident Management & Pollution Remediation,’ said Didier. ‘We have merged our valued Wreck Removal division with BlueTack, enabling us to deliver even better Asset Removal solutions to customers around the world. It marks an important milestone in our journey, combining our strengths and resources to set new standards of excellence in the marine services industry.’

DISA DEUTSCHLAND

DISA opened its first branch in Germany in 2024. Since then, DISA Deutschland GmbH, based in Niederkrüchten, has been a reality. This expansion follows the successful acquisition of CDG-WEST, further strengthening DISA's presence in Germany. John: ‘Our expansion into Germany is a testament to DISA's growth strategy and commitment to serve customers on a broader scale.’ Just before the end of 2024, DISA started the expansion of its headquarters. ‘The expansion will soon accommodate 35 new employees, as we intend to grow steadily,’ Marc said. ‘Also, be sure to check the vacancies on our website. We are constantly looking for new talent, as 2025 promises to be a busy year with the start of almost 20 new projects.’
