Technician

Conducts warehouse tasks according to the company standards and rules and regulations as industry guides and best practices.

Reports to: Maintenance Logistics Warehouse Manager

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Main duties will include:

• Common maintenance/repair/certification of equipment, if qualified therefore
• Access control of equipment and material in warehouse (through suppliers or projects)
• Set out (approved) equipment and material needed for projects
• Know what equipment is being used for what project
• Put inappropriate equipment aside
• Avoid dangers to oneself and others
• Report dangers to one’s supervisor
• Use the provided business and protection equipment in a correct manner
• Participate in organized discussions, instructions and/or training
• Participate in organised discussions, instructions and/or trainings.

AUTHORITIES:

• Shut-down operations in case of direct danger to oneself or others, provided that one’s supervisor is also immediately informed thereof
• Entitled to spontaneously consult the Safety, Health and Welfare Service
• Authorizations according to the company authorization matrix

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES:

• Intermediate Technical degree or relevant experience
• Some knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics
• Some knowledge of computer and video systems
• Knowledge of Dutch, preferably English as well
